Our mission is to advance the practice of user experience design and increase design literacy in Madison and surrounding areas by bringing the best minds together to help non-profits, government and civic organizations and students enhance the experience of their products and services. The UXLab is run out of Bendyworks, during time given to us to learn, grow and give back.

It all starts here. To build things for users, we need to know who your users are, what they think, and how to solve their problems. We can do user interviews, contextual inquiries/ethnographies, diary studies, card sorts, and other research methods and get information and data you can use to bring your product or service to the next level.

The UXLab Does not Currently Provide Interface Design,Visual Design or Development Services. We know people who do though!
Success for research, testing and consulting relies heavily on being able to identify a target audience and establish metrics for success.
Having clear vision from stakeholders helps us come up with the most effective plan.
Research requires people who are willing to participate in tests. No one knows the audience better than you.
We want to compensate people generous enough to participate in research for their time. We provide the elbow grease, you provide the carrot.
